Handmade from Solid Ash
A handmade ash table is built from solid ash boards rather than veneer or an ash-effect surface over chipboard. The timber runs right through, so the table can be sanded and refinished years later. Joints are cut using traditional joinery rather than dowels or flat-pack fixings, which is what keeps the table sound over decades of use.
Each one is shaped, assembled and finished by hand, then made to order to set dimensions. Some boards show olive ash, where darker streaks run through the timber. Because grain varies from board to board, every table is different.

Callum works through the details with you: dimensions, timber, leg style, and whether you’d prefer an oil or lacquer finish. No work starts until we sign off on the design together.

Handcrafting your table
Your table is then made by hand at the Hampshire workshop, usually within 6 to 12 weeks, depending on size and complexity. Solid ash, joined in the traditional way.
Step 4
Delivery or collection
We deliver across the UK, or you’re welcome to collect from Hampshire. Whilst often included, a delivery charge may apply depending on where you are.
